This is a technique where an artist adds hand printed elements to a printed canvas, to restore contrast, and enhance the quality of the more vibrant colours, that may have been lost during reproduction. It creates a unique, one of a kind artwork. Remarqued prints are more valuable than a limited edition print but less expensive than an original.
